CANS 2022 - Call For Posters

To enhance knowledge sharing, promote work in progress and advertise some of your past results, we will be holding poster sessions at CANS 2022.

We will provide dedicated time during the conference for the poster session, so attendees can meet and chat with you about your research. If you wish, you can also deliver a very short presentation during the “lightning talk” session.

Submission guidelines

Who can submit a poster:

  1. Authors of accepted papers from the last two editions of CANS (2020, 2021). This will allow the authors to deliver a live presentation of their work and discuss their ideas in person.
  2. Authors of the papers submitted to CANS 2022 which contain valuable ideas or results but were not yet ready for publication.
  3. Researchers who would like to promote their past results or current work in progress.

We will accept all posters based on accepted papers from CANS 2021 and CANS 2022. All other posters will be reviewed and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all spaces are filled.

Submission details

There is no review process for posters of accepted papers from the 2020 and 2021 editions of CANS, nor for posters by authors of papers submitted to CANS 2022 and selected by the PC chairs for presentation in poster format. All such submissions will be accommodated provided the authors complete the Google Form we have shared with the authors by Friday, September 30th 2022.

If you wish to submit a poster proposal for category (3), please email cans2022@tii.ae with the subject containing the keyword POSTER_PROPOSAL. The submission should include, as an attachment, either:

  • a draft of the poster in PDF format; or
  • a one-page abstract in PDF format.
We will review post submissions regularly so please do not wait until the final submission deadline: we are reviewing poster proposals on a first-come, first-served basis.

The authors of all accepted posters should print their own copy of their poster and bring it with them to the conference. Poster should be printed in portrait mode, with a maximum size of A0 (1189mm x 841mm, or approximately 33 inches by 47 inches).

Poster submissions for published and unpublished works must include the authors' names, affiliations, contact information, and, if available, a link to the paper (either a journal, a conference, or a public archive).

Presentation and Publication

Posters will not be included in the proceedings but may be made available online from the conference website. At least one author of each accepted poster must register for and attend CANS 2022 to present the poster.
